The most important football event in the UK for 55 years and our key agencies failed Police: Failed Football Association: Failed Wembley Management : Failed Government : Failed Their failure allowed and enhanced the drunkenness, lawlessness, violence and criminal behaviour that ripped through the stadium and surrounds on Sunday night. It was predictable and could and should have been stopped hours before the start of the ‘Final’ After all England has massive experience in managing drunk unruly football crowds. Too many senior people in these agencies lost sight as to what was required to make this event safe and secure. I am sure no heads will roll due to their massive incompetence One thing is certain, England are once again international pariahs.
